How to Use the Hydraulic System of a Scraper Chain Mucking Loader?
A scraper chain mucking loader, equipped with a hydraulic system, is an essential tool in various mining and construction applications. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use its hydraulic system effectively:
1. Turn on the main power switch of the scraper chain mucking loader.
2. Once the indicator lights on the buttons illuminate, start the hydraulic pump and fan. It’s crucial to ensure the correct sequence of operations. Failure to follow the correct sequence may prevent the machine from starting.
3. After a startup period of about 10 seconds, the machine is ready for operation under pressure. If the machine has been idle for more than 4 hours, allow the pump to run empty for 5 to 10 minutes before operating under pressure.
4. Lower the transport trough shovel plate to the ground.
5. Maneuver the scraper chain mucking loader forward to gather materials while simultaneously leveling the ground.
6. Once the mining tricycle or other loading equipment enters the unloading area of the machine, engage the handle to start the conveyor belt. If the feeding speed is insufficient, adjust the acceleration control handle accordingly.
7. Manipulate the pilot valve to lift the main arm, extend the secondary arm, position the shovel bucket parallel to the secondary arm, and then lower the main arm while retracting the secondary arm (while slightly moving the main arm up and down). This action allows for the material to be scraped into the transport trough. Rotating the turntable arm enables scraping within a wider range. Adjusting the shovel bucket according to the distance of the material will facilitate scraping.
8. During the scraping process, regularly monitor the scraper chain for smooth operation. In case of jamming, promptly stop the conveyor to prevent overheating of the hydraulic oil. To release a jammed chain, move the conveyor rotation control lever to the middle position and rapidly toggle the conveyor control lever back and forth to release the jam. Avoid stopping the conveyor in the reverse position when there are materials in the transport trough to prevent chain breakage or damage to the scraper, which could significantly impact production.
